König Ludwig Weissbier – a royal Bavarian speciality, brewed with Kaltenberg‘s special yeast strain, malted wheat and barley and the finest Hallertau hops, according to the family recipes of His Royal Highness, Prince Luitpold of Bavaria.

Due to the precise fermentation profile and long maturation period, this beer is very sparkling and refreshing, with a tight stable foam and is naturally cloudy with yeast. This very special beer style makes its first impression on the nose with aromas of cloves, banana, melon and elder. The refreshing taste is smooth and sparkling and fills your mouth with an assortment of fruit flavours, including banana and melon and a flash of honey, which quickly disappears. This refreshing beer is very smooth and mild, with very little bitterness or lingering aftertaste, and is very drinkable. It‘s a challenge to drink only one glass!
